I work for a massive Fortune 100 company which is generally doing very well for itself. But one unit is in a slump for deliveries at the moment and this is the second round of layoffs. My group was impacted and I had to notify the person yesterday. I hated every second of it, but I did it. I am trying to manage the person’s last few weeks with as much empathy as I can, but the whole situation is just absolutely miserable. Feel free to roast me like the evil corporate overlord I am.
