I was working as a freelance contractor with an American publishing company for the last year. This morning all my accesses were revoked with a small email saying they regret to kick me out of the content team for downsizing.
I have created a lot of content for them and more than 20 are approved and waiting to be published. There is no indication that I would be paid for them.
I have recently left my day job depending upon this work. Now this happens. I don't even have any savings. In India that's quite common. I don't know what to do now.
