I am a higher-level government employee with nearly 18 years of service (sorry folks the bullshit doesn't stop no matter where you go).
My boss just stormed into my office and yelled at me to “MAKE THIS YOUR PRIOTIY FOR THE REST OF THE DAY, YOU AREN'T GOING HOME UNTIL IT'S FIXED!!! NO ONE CAN USE IT!!!” Loud enough that a bunch of other employees snapped their necks to look over where I am.
I informed her quite sternly I fixed that shit over a month ago and I have receipts of the emails I sent stating it was done and not one person has approached me to state it failed again or anything related to it. I asked who needed it or asked about it to bring this level of attention to it? No answer, of course. Just screaming to scream.
Got my ass ripped for something I fixed over a month ago and have heard no complaints since. I am so fucking confused. I even went down to that office afterwards to verify and not one person had a clue who would have complained about it since none of them have. These are dudes I have known for 5+ years, if they were the ones to complain they would have come to me first anyway.
