I was recently hospitalized. My client cannot read the room.

I sent her an email when I was being admitted to let her know I would be unavailable, and then messaged her as soon as I got out 5 days later: “Give me a day and I’ll have (xyz) caught up…. So sorry about the delay.” At 1 pm the next day this is what I get. I’m furious. I already told her I need a bit of time to get caught up. The screenshots she sent me were unnecessary as those tasks would be obvious to me when I sat down to do them. Maybe I’m overreacting. But I can’t imagine knowing someone was just discharged from the hospital, and then hounding them for something you could easily do after they already said they were getting to it soon.
