I was sexually harassed by my GM and I have to meet with HR who’s sole job is to protect him and the company.

I’m just venting but if this sort of post is not permitted, please feel free to remove. I’m an assistant manager at my job, and I’ve always been a bit suspicious that my general manager has been into me. Nothing serious, it’s the way “he is”. This man has literally been sued by employees for sexual misconduct, way before I started two years ago. At every turn, and every report, they protect him. He got reported by a customer for transphobic comments. The verdict? A week paid leave. I reported the harassment to our 3rd party HR hotline on Thursday. They told me my job’s HR would reach out to me in 24 hours (Friday) for follow up. She did not, but texted me today about a phone call on Monday. She did not, but texted me today about a phone call on Monday. I’m assuming she did not reach out to me as she is doing her due diligence to try to put this on me and not our GM. Yesterday my direct supervisor (manager of my department ) would not look at me or talk to me aside from a few barked orders.

I’ve never been written up, I’ve only had positive incident reports, and while I never think I would ever be appreciated for my work, or work ethic by a company- I have hyper vigilance-so I notice details they never do and they like that. But CA is an at will employment state, and I feel like they are gearing up to find another reason to fire me over speaking up.
