As the subject line says I was let go without warning or reason.
The gentleman that I was replaced by is a former underling of the boss who canned me.
The dismissal states Termination without cause, so not on bad terms. I was offered a hefty severance and that was it.
At this point I am miffed. I feel like it was so dishonest and unfair because my boss and I had a great rapport. Never even any criticism.
My advice is never stop looking, never get too comfortable because someone can come along and stick it to you.
