I've never been one to do things just for the sake of doing it and that's all life seems to be. Life for the sake of life. My personal life is fine, i'm young, have a job, a house, a car, a spouse, and a very sweet cat. Considering all my life most people are living in worse situations than I am. I feel like my life (in the USA) is almost disrespectful to a good portion of the world. I stock beer for work, that supports large corporations who lobby against fair wages, safe work environment for workers, contribute to a strong negative environmental impact big business has on the planet. Not to mention whatever the hell happens with the tax money we pay. I have to ignore that aspect of my work or i'll go insane. The powers that be are too strong to do anything meaningful about what irks me. The solution of a political/economical revolution seems like a lose-lose situation; who ever has enough power to head a revolt and take over will like do what all powerful entities do: exploit those who they have power over for the benefit of the powerful. As the title implies, I don't want to contribute, I would like to opt out. I'm not interested in kms due to its dramatic effect, I want to not participate at no cost to anyone else.
