If I never have to sit through another virtual job tryout, it’ll be too soon

They’re completely pointless. They aren’t accurate to actual scenarios you’ll encounter, and everyone obviously lies on them anyway. It’s always shit like, “do you like working extra long, high paced, high stress shifts for minimum pay? Or do you hate working and want to be unemployed? Answer honestly!” And they’re way to long too. I shouldn’t have to sit through a 40 minute test to get a $15 an hour job. What’s the point of these stupid tests? What does the company gain?
