If you just survived a round of layoffs, your boss just increased your value and bargaining power!

If you survived (congrats!) then remember two things:

1. Your org still has the same amount of work but less people. Someone's going to try to add things to your job description, BARGAIN FOR MORE MONEY BEFORE YOU ACCEPT! Or, bargain for something to come off of your job description that's of equal value/weight.

2. Right now, this very minute, start to organize a union. Your fellow team members who survived are motivated to protect themselves and a union does that. And, as per point #1, you are at your peak bargaining power.
