I've been seeing so many bad experiences here and I wanted to share an emerging trend I noticed.
First, I'm a man in my mid twenties – I can never become pregnant and coming in with that perspective.
Anyway, if you see a company that has quite the few pregnant women around, it's generally a good company to work for. This means a few things – 1. great health insurance to cover the bill 2. great materinity leave to recover and bond with the child 3. with so many women becoming pregnant, their careers don't stagnant because that's the culture the company pushes.
I'm not trying to be a shill for working, I see it as a necessary evil to survive. What you can do is to choose places that makes your life a lot easier.
