“If you want to leave this company on good standing you have to come in on your approved day off”

I've worked at a hotel for almost 4 years, and this Saturday will be my last day there. I got a new job on the 30th, put in a little over one weeks notice for my old job (background check got delayed so I couldnt do two weeks), and I'm feeling great… except my GM is makijg things complicated. My GM is the reason why I'm leaving my old job. Hes had a long history of bullying me and a few others for trivial things. At first it was because I was genuinely slacking at my job, so fair, but after 4 years thats not the case anymore, and yet his bullying has somehow exacerbated. The two straws that broke the camels back was him first writing me up for not cleaning a bathroom that got trashed after I clocked out (we had a wedding party that night) and him…

My GM is the reason why I'm leaving my old job. Hes had a long history of bullying me and a few others for trivial things. At first it was because I was genuinely slacking at my job, so fair, but after 4 years thats not the case anymore, and yet his bullying has somehow exacerbated. The two straws that broke the camels back was him first writing me up for not cleaning a bathroom that got trashed after I clocked out (we had a wedding party that night) and him making me weed the entire hotel, even though he pays landscapers to do that, and for more than what I make. After a supervisor told me he said to him “what are the odds of him doing it right” the supervisor pulled me aside and warned me about this potentially being a trap, so I started job searching almost immediately as my coworkers covered for me not doing the weeding.
Now to yesterday, at the advice of my friends and coworkers, I decided to use the last of my sick time to request a paid day off on Friday. I talked to the coworker that would be covering me and got the OK from him, and last night I got an email saying my supervisor approved my request, meaning I should have a day off that day.
Today however, my GM pulled me into his office and told me he wants me to work on my approved day off? Why? Because he doesn't want to give my coworker an overtime day. I tried to tell him my supervisor approved it, but he said “she said she'll see what I can do”. I tried to show him the approval receipt but he then said to me “If you want to leave this company on good standing you have to come in on Friday”. I think thats a straight up threat. I've heard that my GM apparently gets petty with everyone that puts in their notice, even those with squeaky clean records, but I didn't think he would go this far. Besides Friday, I'm only scheduled to work one more day (Saturday) so what should I do? Should I call out on Friday anyway and if he fires me, take it to HR? I have an email receipt of the approval so I have all the evidence I need to take it to corporate if need be.
