My workplace just started a program where people can apply to work on 2 cnc machines and get a 40% bonus if they make at least 90% of what is expected on 1 on both maschines. Not even a base hourly wage increase but a 40% bonus for doing twice as much work. That means their other bonuses that are counted from base pay (like nightshift bonus) stay the same and that's not all. Do they really expect people to make 200% for a rough estimate of 120% of their current pay? I'm speechless…
