If you’ve been placed on the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP), raise your hand ️

For the past 3 months, I've noticed a lot of posts mentioning about how they've been placed on the PIP. I just finished my PIP, and I failed. Now I'm job hunting. What is it about this time of the year that seemingly everyone's being placed on PIPs?
