This is going to get downvoted into oblivion, but how do most of the posts here meet the subreddits intent? This community is described as:
“A subreddit for those who want to end work, are curious about ending work, want to get the most out of a work-free life, want more information on anti-work ideas and want personal help with their own jobs/work-related struggles.”
This, and most other posts like it, are just people complaining about the most random stuff. On the post earlier about live in butlers, one person commented that each of these people should make 150-300k each! What are we talking about?! A vast majority of the tasks listed there are things most people have to do on their own anyways, not some highly specialized task. Any Joe blow can plant annual flowers, you don’t need to be a professional landscaper lol
The salary wasn’t even posted, which I agree is super annoying and shouldn’t be allowed in job ads. If the post was about that, I’d 100% agree. But if the salary ends up being 50k each plus private accommodations in a guest house, that’s an amazing deal. As an officer in the marine corps I made less and all my needs were met.
Just feels like this is sub has become a place to complain and isn’t doing anything to further the idea of “life without work”.
