Antiwork

I’m a part of the UAW strike, without any of the union benefits.

I worked for an automotive company specializing in installing suspension lift kits on Ford, GM, and Dodge trucks, which were shipped directly from the manufacturers. Our job was to customize these vehicles based on orders from car dealerships across the United States, ready to be shipped back to them. Today, myself and around 10 of my colleagues were suddenly laid off. Our manager informed us that this decision was due to the ongoing UAW strikes, preventing our company from receiving vehicles from the manufacturers. It's a challenging situation as we're now waiting for the demands to be met between the UAW and the manufacturers before we can return to work.
