I’m about to have to work 48 hours in 6 days… With no overtime. How pay periods nullify the purpose of overtime.

So I look at my schedule, see I have two days off in a row beginning of next week. AWESOME. got two days off at the end of next week. Also awesome. But… Wait. I look at the weeks together, and I'm working 6 days straight, 3 on one week, 3 on the other. My work week begins when that first day starts and doesn't end for 6 days regardless of when my employer hits refresh on their fucking bank account, for me the first of those 6 days is Monday and the last is Saturday.

Overtime should be required whenever you work more than 40 hours in any 7 day period, not just the one decided by the employer.
