So here’s my history: been working at this restaurant for almost 9 years, made my way up from bussing tables to be one of the managers and Im also the wine/spirits buyer, Im pretty sure with me is the first time that the owner is making a lot of money because everyone else stole from him and with me all the money goes to the register, my salary is 70k a year plus bonus maybe another 10K my hours are 2 days a week from 9-4, then Fridays from 4-12am, Saturdays from 11am – 12am and Sundays from 9-4, 70k a year becomes $1346 per week, so after 2 years as a manager I finally ask for a raise and they agree on giving me 5k more thats only $96 extra per check every 2 weeks, sometimes servers make $400 in one night so Im leaving the restaurant made this month over $386k and is one of the slowest months of the year, what you guys think? I just spend too much time on the weekends and is not worth the money
