I worked 76 hours last week and only saw my wife when I came home at 4 am to say goodnight as I went to sleep, only to do it again the next day. For 12 days strait before I got 2 days off.
All of that to make an extra $1,000.
36 hours of extra on call work with barely any sleep for a measly $1,000 (BEFORE TAX)
I’m near my limit. My wife and I don’t need a lot of material stuff to be happy. And we’ve discussed quitting our jobs, selling everything, and just living a simple peaceful life. (EXCEPT THATS ILLEGAL YOU MUST SUBMIT TO THE CORPORATE OVERLORDS)
I have an extensive list of skills, college education, all the things I was told to do.
