Recently graduated and started a new position. $21 an hour, $1000 rent, $8 parking in their employee parking lot everyday, gas money, food (i get so tired to cook dinner and next days lunch), i’m EXHAUSTED. I wake up at 6 am to get to work on time, come home at 6 pm. 8 long hours everyday, long commute, overbearing manager. Seems like I JUST started my day and drove to work, got home at 6 and rotted and now it’s almost midnight. I still have to shower, clean, wanted to do laundry etc, but I blink and it’s time to go to sleep to wake up on time for the next day. This has been so difficult for me, I feel lonelier than ever because I live alone, and I don’t know how sustainable this is.
