I got my mid year performance review last week and it's ridiculous. I was rated as “meets expectations” after going above and beyond. I worked on projects, wrote training docs and recorded videos, created a calendar to track a group task (that I update myself every month), AND have been cross trained at least 3 times to handle different backlogs. What kind of expectations are those???
The worst part is that this is a good place to work. Until my most recent manager I never had this issue. It's so fucking stupid. I'm done. You refuse to recognize my hard work? Fine. You don't get it anymore.
