I am not a manager. I am not an engineer but have been wearing that hat for a couple days now. I am mainly the person in a room with another department head, and therefore, am being asked when things are coming and happening. My information is limited or just non-existent but I am constantly being asked about various equipment I have no control over. When is it coming, who is in charge of that piece of equipment, where is this or that?
The department head is not a terrible person but is just not getting any information from anyone else that is in charge. I'm just at the point of exaggerating the movement of time. I have already used a LOTR quote “Look to it's coming on the first light of the fifth day, at dawn look to the east” but would love hear any of your favorite movie, novel, or video game quotes about time passing.
