I’m 21 y/o and have only worked for 2 years, at a daycare. I have been trying so hard to find a job that isn’t shit pay or working at like a restaurant or something. And I just want a job to just work, not start a career, so I’m not going to school rn. Don’t even really want to work but I have no choice because America. Really have been trying to find clerical work, which I KNOW I can do. But it doesn’t fucking matter what skills I say I have. They’re always going to pick the person who has the related work experience. I sell myself so hard and get nothing. And it’s not like I’m applying for things above my skill level. I’m just so done with the system here and I want out.
