So we got a new plant manager recently and he called me in his office today. He explained that our plant wasn’t competitive enough with pay and they were raising the starting wage and my upcoming wage to 14.50. Well that’s great considering I’m only making 13.37. However….. I’ve been working here for 4 years. Is it selfish of me to be kind of mad that I’ll be making the same amount of money as someone who just started?
