I’m not a babysitter

I am the manager at a small aesthetics spa. We do mostly lash extensions and honestly only have 1 underage regular client. So a woman comes in today with her younger than 16 year old daughter for a full set of lashes. She’s a new client. She wants to leave her daughter with us for 2/3 hours to run errands and do whatever. Here’s the thing about lashes extensions… some people have allergies to different glues. When I say small business I mean less than 5 regular not full time employees. So today is just me and 1 lash track for the whole day. The person is laying down and not being disruptive or anything like…

And I know, it’s not a baby. The person is laying down and not being disruptive or anything like that but this woman was so adamant to leave her kid. I don’t know this kid, I can’t supervise for 2/3 hours. I just can’t have a kid here that will have to wait on someone to come pick them up, especially when we close directly after this appointment.

Ugh
