3 weeks ago my fiancée was hired by what we thought was a dream job. 70k in pay plus commission and a fast track to upper management. 1 week in they start criticizing her about how she works. She has the best numbers, is the most productive but her boss keeps saying the way she is interviewing isn’t the method she wants. So my fiancée takes the initiative to talk and work with her boss to try to interview exactly how she sees fit. Thinks seem to be going great. Today she was hauled into a meeting, told she wasn’t working out, and fired. After 3 weeks. 10 days really because the 1st week was partial. They’ve already listed her job and requiring 2+ years of medical recruiting experience. (They just got a big clients that is demanding the account manager for them have 2 years of medical recruitment experience)
Anyway, just wanted to vent. They did her dirty and I hate how jobs can get away with this. We live in a hire/fire state.
