She’s new. She’s been with the company for 20+ years, over my team only since May though. She talks way too much and loves to brag about her things… her big truck that she has just to pull the big camper, the pool, and brand new jeep gladiator.
This past week in a meeting with a couple other team leads present another lead mentioned someone on their team was taking a month off to travel with their wife and in response she says “you know we’re paying them too much when they can afford to do that.”
I am FLOORED. Does she really think that anyone below her should only make the bare minimum to pay their bills and nothing more? She doesn’t know what this workers wife does, doesn’t know if he’s staying in hostels and backpacking the trip, and a he knows nothing about his story!!! So fucking done with the boomer managers of the workforce that think they deserve to be paid for talking and not actually accomplishing anything.
