This is like my 4th job ever, I've never really been the outcast at a job. I also haven't been in a place where the people in my department were so buddy buddy its kinda cringe.
I did give an effort but they excluded me realtively quickly so once that happened I decided I'm just here to work and not make any type of social relationships.
I'm more worried at this point about career progression at this company. I like the people around the building but being an outcast in my department just seems bad.
I'll tell you one thing, this experience is something I would hope to avoid again. Don't think I will look for a job that is not remote anymore.
