I’m tired of society’s tolerance of Intolerable things.

I live in the USA. Im tired of it, though. I don’t understand our morals. We get upset over the most trivial things but when something like the Restrict Act comes around, we are basically silent. The government is doing nothing to ensure we’re paid a living wage (see the federal minimum wage). Corporations determine our elections. Healthcare is unaffordable, so if you get something life threatening, you can go ahead and give up if you don’t have $50,000 saved up. Why aren’t we boycotting, protesting, or even doing more drastic things to ensure the government looks out for the people rather than the people lining their pockets? The US citizens are well aware of all the ways the government has kept us suppressed. We see the BS they pull to get more out of the less fortunate citizens. Yet, we still go to work and pay taxes. The US citizens are well aware of all the ways the government has kept us suppressed. We see the BS they pull to get more out of the less fortunate citizens. Yet, we still go to work and pay taxes. We just have to ban together and they can’t touch us. We run this country. As much as they’d like to believe they control things, the citizens keep the day to day afloat. If we stopped participating, they’d have to give in to our demands. Minimum wage is 7.25/hr. WHAT?

Politicians get paid hundreds of thousands yet the people they serve have to work more than one job just to stay afloat? Profits of corporations are breaking records but they can’t raise our pay? Wtf people.

full disclosure, im 25. If you can look past my young age, please listen, JUNE 19, if we can all skip work, refuse to make any taxable purchase, and block essential roads, the govt has to give in to demands.

We need laws that ensure our wages go up if inflation hits. We need laws that hurt the profits of corporations. Our food is allowed to have ingredients that other countries deem toxic; corporations make political donations that influence politicians to pass laws to benefit the business over people.

Idk bout y’all, but I’m tired of it. You can only pull yourself up by the bootstrap so much before you’re malnourished while the company you work for is making record profits.

We need federal changes. You see how long it’s taking for even weed to get legalized, despite 20 states already legalizing it. Who do you think is holding up weed being federally legalized? It’s corporations. 2/3 of us agree it should be legal, so why isn’t it? It’s because pharmaceutical companies are afraid of lost profits. We live in a country that wants to keep us sick simply because they can profit.

Look, I’m not calling for violence. I’m calling for a refusal to participate day. Don’t go to work. Don’t make any purchase. If possible, don’t even use utilities. Every Monday we do this, and things can improve for the working man. Don’t do this, and things stay the same. Spread the word. DM me or gather a group up, but let’s make this a reality on the 1st of June.

We live in a capitalist society. If they don’t see profits, they get hurt. We have the power. Always remember that.
