In a normal job, does your manager present and take credit for your work?

I'm at a relatively small company and sometimes it feels like my only job is to give my boss information/decks/results to make herself look good in front of her superiors. Is this normal? I'm in it day to day, yet she's the only one who gets to talk about it.
