I work for a unionized company. I have a fairly well-paid position as a finance professional. I have always had the motivation to go above and beyond when asked to help even if it meant I was delayed in my daily tasks. I don't count my hours.
Well, I just found out that many of my fellow professionals have files with several “inefficiency” complaints in their name and even that is not enough to get them fired!
It's not in my plans to have those complaints either. But it puts me in perspective.
