At the end of last year we all got a letter at work stating that we would get 1000€ each, as bonus because of inflation.
I think 2 people got the full 1000€..cause they calculated your sick days into the thing
I got 150€
At the beginning of the year they had this big speach about how “if you're under 5% sick leave quota, you get 1000€ at the end of june”
They calculated everything into that quota. Work accidents, sick kids, the bos being sick himself? Yep. even the long term sickness guys were calculated in.
At max 3 people each week could be sick without a problem.. Well we have 2 guys who didn't show up since September. And you stop paying for them after 6 weeks of sick leave, insurance takes care of em at that point. They're not even paying for them, but their contribution to the quota dragged us down
We had an average of around 6.4%
We won't be getting any money and morale is low. My colleagues just decided, if you just get pissy comments for showing up sick anyway, why bother. A slight cough? Sick leave. Feeling a bit under the weather? Gotta call in sick.
