I’m actually so pissed off. I rolled my ankle pretty badly and missed a few days last week between going for doctors appts and X-rays for it. On Friday they had me come into the office to do some admin work that was really boring, but like fair enough. Then my foreman insisted he had work for me to do at the site for today (Monday).
I asked him to confirm he has some light work for me to do that I can stay off my ankle for, cause it seemed fishy to me.
He told me I’m coming to the site just to sit in my car all day. I’d rather be doing the shitty office work they had me doing tbh. Like what the fuck is the point of having me sit there all day (I know there’s no point. It’s just so they don’t have to pay me through WSIB or whatever.)?
Like fuck this man.
