Hello browsers of r/antiwork. I recently became a shift manager at a local location for a national restaurant chain, and have some concerns regarding my entitlement to rest periods. I am aware (or at least under the impression) that Indiana state law requires eight hours of rest between shifts, and was wondering if any such restriction applies to the workers of Illinois, and if so whether my employer can refuse me that courtesy as part of my conditions of employment.
