Internal dilemma…

Was recently passed up on a promotion, and the job went to someone with a chemistry degree and he was working on his doctorate, which fine I get it, but I just found out they put their 2 weeks in after being here for maybe 3? Do I take the job if offered or tell them to shove it up their asses? Was recently passed up on a promotion, and the job went to someone with a chemistry degree and he was working on his doctorate, which fine I get it, but I just found out they put their 2 weeks in after being here for maybe 3?

Do I take the job if offered or tell them to shove it up their asses?

Pros: I get to go to school for free

Cons: department is a mess, only a 40 cent increase in pay, and overall I would be making less money than what I am doing now bc of overtime.

I only wanted the job for the opportunity and possible schooling, but I feel like it's not worth it at this point because they have shown their true colors.

Do I take the job for the possible advancement or just stay where I am even tho I am more than qualified to do the job in question, and it would benefit me in the long run.. but I also don't plan on staying longer than I have to.
