Is anyone else annoyed by the constant “30+ years old people are much more financially stable than 20+ years old people” thingy, even though 70% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck?

I'm not sure where this entire thing comes from but I'm so tired of it…no, not all of us in our thirties are thriving financially, far from it. A lot of us are struggling as hell, EVEN with decent wages. I'm still in a tremendous amount of student debt, I'm barely surviving AND I know a lot of people who are in the same situation : this isn't due to me being lazy, this isn't because I'm not careful with my finances (spoiler : I am), it's simply because I CAN'T do otherwise ! So yeah, the whole myth of being 30+ and having solved all of our financial issues and being able to enjoy life is exactly that : a myth. The truth is I'm not more financially secure that I was in my twenties, I'm just a hell of a lot wiser. Anyone else annoyed by this pressure…

Anyone else annoyed by this pressure we're constantly dealing with even though we're doing everything we can to go on?

Sorry if it sounded like a bit of a rant…
