My health insurance currently takes $178 from each of my paychecks. Starting next year, it’s going to be $251 per paycheck. It’s just my wife and I on our insurance and we didn’t even have any major medical costs this year!
It’s funny because I made a comment to my coworker how insurance is a scam and how I really want free healthcare and all that. But then he complained how that would make our taxes higher. But I’m paying $500 a month just for mediocre healthcare! I would be making more money if higher taxes paid for healthcare.
I just can’t believe that they’re allowed to increase our payment by that much. Health insurance truly is a scam.
