I want to change my company because of a toxic environment, but I am afraid that if I receive an offer letter from another company and they later revoke it, I will be in a difficult situation. This has happened to one of my friends; he joined an organization that offered him very low compensation because they knew he had nowhere else to go. Due to the current global economic situation, it is challenging to receive job offers from multiple companies. If some of them decline, at least having offer letters from other companies would put me on the safer side.
