Is it just me, or are boomers generally worse bosses?

As above. I've noticed a lot of boomers have a terrible attitude regarding authority. I started a new job, and I've ended up with a boomer boss who basically said “Oh sure honey, you were sick 🤭,” when I missed filling my induction info email. I had a fucking kidney infection and a burning urethra, Brenda. I was either asleep or glued to the toilet crying. When I submitted the information she was salty about how it made her look bad that I wasn't going to make payroll on time this week. I was the one out of pocket. It's like Karens never stop being Karens. Even professionally. The authoritarian mindset of “I'm the boss, so I'm never wrong and you have to step on eggshells with me, and never EVER ask for help.” This woman is a team-leader for an inbound call-centre. How TF has she lasted this long?…

The majority of Xers down I've met have been lovely people and would make great managers. Sadly, some Zillenials have been similarly girlboss/alpha male, but for the most part, my worst employers have been boomers. Is this a thing?
