Is it worth the trouble reporting an attempt to break an NDA?

So I recently just left a company that I spent the last 5 years with and been with the new company for 2 weeks now. I left on mostly good terms with everyone and the company as a whole except for a couple people. Prior to leaving, I drafted a document with all of my notes and tricks for fixing different issues. (Only did it because my work ethic just couldn’t leave on a bad note, so judge me as you please.) He didn’t like that answer. He pushed and pushed for me to provide the answer but I refused by repeating that statement. After about 10 minutes he finally gave up, called me an asshole, then hung up.

So my question is: is it worth the effort to reach out to my former company’s HR to report it, or just distance myself from the situation.

(Oh, and the issue they were having was outlined in my cheat sheet, but this individual wouldn’t refer to it. Lol)
