Is my employer justified to make me work a specific time on my schedule, even if I don’t want to?

I recently was told (not asked) from a boss below my main boss, to work a time of day I never intended to want to work.. when I mentioned I have sleep apnea that would make that difficult to be functional for that time of work, was then told that, because of not having enough staff for that specific time of day, that they “need” me to.. I feel like I don’t have the option to decline.. I considered bringing this up to my higher up, but not sure if I even have leverage to decline? For reference, I am a new employee, still within my 90 day probation period, and worry this could be a reason for termination if I am unable to make this work…
