Long story short I’m a college student working for the summer. I have 2 jobs. Job 1 is in my field and very rewarding. Job 2 is fast food.
Job 1 originally wasn’t super communicative and I was under the impression I wouldn’t have much for hours. Because of this I got job 2. I will now be working job 1 every day. Only a few hours, but the money would be more than enough to live off of.
I’ve had 2 days at job 2 and it is AWFUL. Y’all know how fast food goes. I’ve made the decision to leave as I no longer “need” the job. Is there any reason I shouldn’t just stop showing up and not answer calls? I will not use them as a reference in the future and I never planned on it.
