So long story short I interview for an promotional tech sales role and after 9 long interviews from leadership, VPs I was told I came in 2nd because the end customer is middle aged white men and my personality isn’t a right fit. I was in shocked and just shook my head and ended the call. I’m a POC, always happy and positive personality, very business savvy, work with a lot of white people as customers and they ended up hiring a middle aged white guy for the role.
Am I thinking to much into it? I found that comment racist. I’ve dealt with alot of comments in my old companies on racism so immune to it at this point(sad to say)
