It blows my mind that people with terminal cancer still choose to keep working full time

I work with cancer patients and the amount of patients I’ve seen who are still working full time despite being terminal is staggering. If I had terminal cancer and was going to die soon, the last thing I’d want to do is spend my last few years/months sitting in an office behind a screen 40 hours a week. I’d want to travel, see the world, do something meaningful for others, even just relax and spend time with family and friends, not waste away my last days working full time. That is all.
