i’ve been doing unpaid manager work, what to do?

i work in a big retail store as a team member, but i have also been taught SOME managing too. they haven’t fully trained me but i know about 70% of what other managers have learnt. the thing is, i think i’m being ripped off because my job haven’t been paying me for hours of managing work i’ve done a couple of days a week i will do an hour of managing the front end checkouts while two of the managers go on their lunch break at the same time. it would only be 2-3 hours a week which would equate to about $6 since managers only earn $2 or so extra an hour, but i’ve done this for a few months and i haven’t gotten paid a single cent for it i’m contracted as a team member so i get team member rates normally, but if i’m consistently doing…

i’m contracted as a team member so i get team member rates normally, but if i’m consistently doing these couple of hours of managing, shouldn’t i be getting paid for it even if it is only 1 hour every couple of days ? i mean $6 isn’t much but it does add up and it feels like i’m being exploited a bit

i want to say something about it but i’m worried about losing my job. what should i do, who do i speak to?
