I’ve recently landed a new job that wants me to start work on the 25th.
But I have 3 weeks PTO time left at my current job.
I’m on the schedule at my current job until the 16th.
I’m owed this PTO and hate to see it go to waste. What can I do to ensure I get paid out for it?
I work in Texas, and I don’t know what guarantees their are for people in situations like mine, is there anything that would enforce the company I work for to pay me out for it or let me use it?
What could I say or do that would let me use up my PTO and then start my new job?
