My job just let a bunch of us go, no warning, and don't want their laptops back. It's actually a pretty decent laptop that I could use to job hunt and possibly at my next job (I'm a remote worker). Is there anyway to get around the log in or wipe the laptop so I can use it?
I know it's just a ThinkPad, but I don't have a personal laptop and do data analytics, so it works great for my line of work. I'd love to not have to buy a laptop right now, especially considering I don't know when my next paycheck is coming in.
