So this job I interviewed for and was given by my recruiter was advertised as hybrid 3 days in office and 2 days remote. I’ve been on this schedule for the whole month I’ve been here and they just dropped the news today they are going full time in the coming months. I work in IT as a developer and I’m dumbfoundly furious. These companies are just straight scumbags that do not care for anyone. Thankfully this is a 6 month contract to potentially full time which now I’m definitely not gonna stay after my contract is up. I genuinely would not have been mad if this was advertised as in office but it wasn’t. My commute is an hour and a half away and sometimes 2 hours back due to traffic. Even going in 3 days has been a nightmare but the hybrid schedule has made it bearable. Unfortunately apparently there is no protection in my contract my recruiter says which now has me pissed that I overlooked such a thing. Overall fuck these businesses and this dumbass mentality.
