Job hunting is a full-time job, and it’s killing me

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but job hunting is a nightmare. I got fired, and now all my time and energy is sucked into the black hole that is applying for jobs. It’s not just sending a resume and hoping for the best—no, no. Apparently, applying for a job means becoming their unpaid employee for the entire process. Almost every application? Let’s not forget the four rounds of interviews—each over an hour long—because apparently one interview doesn’t give them enough time to suck out your soul.
