Im perfectly happy to working a reasonable schedule but I just interviewed for a job and the only question they asked was “are you available for 60 hours a week”. And when I replied “daycare closes at 5:30” it basically ended the conversation. I also applied to a job that listed the schedule as 1-9:30. Am… after applying and getting hired without even being interviewed (!?!) I find out it's only a 5 hour shift. People want to work, but be up front with the schedule and pay.
