Job interview red flag

Recently interviewed for a job at a small company. It was apparent early in the interview that they were on the low end of pay scales, no OT or structure to earn more, and other indicators that the work wasn't going to be a good fit. Nonetheless the manager offered up a positive tidbit of enticement! Occasionally the company acquires old machines and such, and once or twice a year they haul this stuff to a scrap yard and use the proceeds to buy pizza for the office. Free office pizza! My interpretation: we give you free pizza but less often than the solar eclipses pass directly overhead.

I did not accept their eventual formal offer to work there. But I did get my own pizza for lunch. I was hungry.
